Our Story

The Glue, The Fire, and a Whole Lot of Love

Picture of The Glue, The Fire, and a Whole Lot of Love

This isn’t just a love story — it’s a story of quiet strength, unshakable faith, and two hearts that found healing, wholeness, and home in each other.

When they met, it wasn’t under fireworks or fairytale beginnings. It was calm, natural — two people who had walked through life’s storms, quietly learning, growing, and carrying the kind of depth that only comes from experience.

From the beginning, their connection was grounded in something deeper. They shared their faith, prayed together, and allowed grace to guide their relationship. In each other, they found not just love, but peace — and occasionally, someone to debate dinner plans with for 45 minutes before landing on takeout.

At a time in Rebecca's life - the soul of her family — fell ill, life shifted in ways she couldn’t prepare for. The loss was devastating. And yet, in the heart of that heartbreak, Jonathan became a source of strength. Thoughtful in every detail, calm in every storm, he was the steady hand holding the family together. The glue that kept them going. But she — through unimaginable grief — remained the heart. A woman who showed strength while honoring her sorrow, and somehow continued to pour love into those around her, even with a broken heart.

Jonathan loved without needing recognition. He stepped in fully — not just as a partner, but as a father to Isaiah. A young man they now raise together — one Jonathan has helped guide, love, and mold with patience and support. But their story is not only about how he showed up — it's also about the love she gave in return. She showed him what it truly means to be loved with kindness, respect, and faith… plus a little fire and a sharp wit that keeps him on his toes. She's passionate, loyal, and never afraid to speak her mind — and in her, he found a love that challenges him, supports him, and always, always keeps it real.

Together, they’ve built a life filled with meaning, laughter, prayer, and purpose. Their daughter Arianna brings joy and light to every room, a beautiful reminder of the love still surrounding them. Their son, Jonathan Jr., has completed the family in the most perfect way — and may or may not already be trying to rule the household with his charm.

While they raise their little ones together, Jonathan’s love for his children — Kyleigh, Kayden, and Christion — remains a constant part of the man he is. All of their children's presence is a thread woven into his heart, and part of what makes him the loving partner and father he continues to be.

Their journey hasn’t been without its moments — some hard, some hilarious — but through every season, they’ve chosen each other. With faith at the center and love as the foundation, they now walk forward — not just as partners, but as best friends, prayer warriors, and proud parents of the greatest blessings in their lives — ready to vow before God, their family, and the children who made them whole, to love each other for a lifetime.
